CallTide is an AI receptionist for residential heating and cooling companies in Metro Detroit. It answers the after-hours and overflow calls you forward to it, tells the caller it is an AI and that the call is recorded, takes down the caller's name, callback number, address and problem, and emails you a summary.

What it does not do yet
It does not book appointments, transfer calls, dispatch technicians, quote prices or detect emergencies. Callers with a gas smell, smoke or carbon monoxide should call 911.

CallTide Call Alerts: text message program
CallTide Call Alerts is an optional text summary of the phone calls CallTide answers for its business customers. Text alerts are not active yet. Text alerts start after our texting number is verified. Until then, every customer gets the call summary by email only.
When texting is turned on for your account, the texts come from a CallTide number and start with "CallTide LLC:". We send no marketing or promotional texts.
How you opt in, when texting is turned on: before service starts, the customer signs the CallTide service agreement (Schedule B) and initials this line: "Yes, CallTide LLC may send CallTide Call Alerts (a text summary of each phone call CallTide answers for my company) to this mobile number. I understand: about one text per answered call, message and data rates may apply, texts are optional and not required to buy CallTide, I can reply STOP at any time to stop and HELP for help, and my number is not shared or sold for marketing." Texts are optional.
Message frequency (once texting is on for your account): varies with call volume (about one text per answered call plus a one-time confirmation). Message and data rates may apply. To stop: reply STOP at any time (STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work). To restart, reply START. For help: reply HELP or contact hello@getcalltide.com or (734) 562-6620.
